Amigurumi Cat March Free Crochet Pattern

To knit a cat we need:
- The main yarn in three colors: Children’s novelty from Pekhorka 200m / 50g white,
- Orange brown
- You can use any yarn “from the same series”
- For small details, the floss is red for the tongue, white for the eyes is a “snowflake”,
- Green, brown iris,
- Hook No. 1.75, No. 1.
- Filler for toys hollofiber,
- Satin ribbon or finished bow,
- Monofilament or fishing line for mustache.
CONVENTIONS:
Ch – air loop
Ch – air lift loop
sc – single crochet
sl-st – connecting column
inc – increase
dec – decrease
3rd dec – triple decrease (3 sc we knit together)
3rd inc – triple increase (3 sc from one sc)
distant p / p – half loops (we knit on the back wall sc)
At the end of the row, the total number of columns in the row is indicated, for example = 18.

We knit an oval detail in a spiral.

We don’t stuff the tail. If desired, insert the wire.

ASSEMBLY TOYS
Fasten the arms / legs with sewing pins to the body.
Sew the upper and lower legs, then the tail and connect the head with the body.
On the lower legs we embroider three stitches, divisions for fingers.

6-7 rows: 20 sc for long half loops
Further to the tail, we knit all the rows for the distant p / p.
8 row: (4 sc, inc) x 4 times = 24
9 row: 24 sc
10 row: (3 sc, inc) x 6 times = 30
11-17 rows: 30 sc

“SCALES”
We attach the colored (I have green) thread to the semi-loops of the 7th row and knit arches in
staggered in a spiral pattern.
1st row: (1 sc, 2 Ch), 1 sc skip. Repeat until the end of the row.
2nd row: 1 sc into the arch, while capturing the brown half-loop of the body by 1 row
above 2 Ch.
From the 3rd row we knit arches from 3 Ch. Those. (1 sc into the arch, 3 Ch) x repeat until the end of the row.
Repeat the 3rd row several times.
The last 2 rows we knit arches from 2 Ch.
Lightly fill the body of the fish with the filler.
TAIL
In our work, we have two threads: green and brown.
1 row: in each sc we knit 2 Dc. A total of 24 Dc.
In this case, we alternate: we knit 2 Dc in brown, 2 Dc in green.
2 row: (1 Dc, inc from Dc) x 12 times = 36 Dc
3 row: we knit on both sides: 2 Dc green, 3 Dc brown, 3 sc green, 3 sc
brown, 3 sc green, 3 Dc brown, 2 Dc green.
Cut the threads, fix, hide the tails.
FIN
We knit 5 connecting posts along the body of the fish.
Next, we knit in the loops of these sl-st brown thread:
(inc from Dc) x 2 times, 1 Dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc.
Sew on bead eyes.
The fish is ready!
