To knit a cat we need:

  • The main yarn in three colors: Children’s novelty from Pekhorka 200m / 50g white,
  • Orange brown
  • You can use any yarn “from the same series”
  • For small details, the floss is red for the tongue, white for the eyes is a “snowflake”,
  • Green, brown iris,
  • Hook No. 1.75, No. 1.
  • Filler for toys hollofiber,
  • Satin ribbon or finished bow,
  • Monofilament or fishing line for mustache.

CONVENTIONS:

Ch – air loop

Ch – air lift loop

sc – single crochet

sl-st – connecting column

inc – increase

dec – decrease

3rd dec – triple decrease (3 sc we knit together)

3rd inc – triple increase (3 sc from one sc)

distant p / p – half loops (we knit on the back wall sc)

At the end of the row, the total number of columns in the row is indicated, for example = 18.

Fasten the arms / legs with sewing pins to the body.

Sew the upper and lower legs, then the tail and connect the head with the body.

“SCALES”

2nd row: 1 sc into the arch, while capturing the brown half-loop of the body by 1 row

above 2 Ch.

From the 3rd row we knit arches from 3 Ch. Those. (1 sc into the arch, 3 Ch) x repeat until the end of the row.

Repeat the 3rd row several times.

The last 2 rows we knit arches from 2 Ch.

Lightly fill the body of the fish with the filler.

In our work, we have two threads: green and brown.
